The
Day After Tomorrow
After the long wait to see this film (I
missed it at the theatres) I was completely captivated. We all sat there,
popcorn half to our mouths, stunned at the incredible graphics. So totally
worth the wait.
Dennis Quaid is a fine actor at the best of
times and he's decent in this. Add Bilbo to the mix and you've got
sensational when "shaken not stirred" with the most phenomenal
special effects, it leaves you breathless.
This is a must own movie and we'll be
watching it many times in the future. It's scary and spectacular and
awe-inspiring at the very force of nature and what we're doing to Her each
and every day. We all keep thinking that the future is in the
future. That the worry about global destruction is something for the
studios in Hollywood. Nothing could be further from the truth.
This film brings this to focus in the manner of Deep Impact.
A must-see. 5
